NRCS/Farm Bill News

DCCD shares an office and works closely with the Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS), formerly the Soil Conservation Service, on helping find solutions to natural resource issues.

Snow Surveys

An important function of the NRCS is to collect data on snowpack levels throughout the western mountains. This information is used to predict stream discharge for the coming season.
